“Black Magic” is a collection of early works depicting a world in which the gigantic computer Nemesis controls politics. “Appleseed” is a sci-fi action film depicting SWAT member Dunan and the full-body cyborg Briareos, who live in a ruined city after the Fifth World War. “Dominion” is a comical depiction of the battle between Leona, a member of the “Police Tank Corps,” and her beloved small tank Bonaparte, and the villainous Buaku Gang. “Ghost in the Shell” depicts the battles of “Public Security Section 9,” an offensive organization under the direct control of the Prime Minister. “Super Ghost in the Shell ORION” is a fantasy work in which super ancient magicians and summoned gods fight over the “Nine Head Dragon Magic.
” “The World of Shirow Masamune” is Shirow Masamune’s first large-scale exhibition, tracing his diverse range of works and current activities through “analog manuscripts” and “digitally printed manuscripts.”
